NAAPID at Night is an evening event the 2nd Monday in February each year following the National African American Parent Involvement Day in your local school. While all-inclusive, NAAPID, both day and night, help focus attention on the important role that African American parents play in their child's education. NAAPID strives to bring parents into the schools and classrooms to strengthen parent-teacher partnerships to benefit the academic achievement of the students. NAAPID at Night provides an opportunity to showcase student talent beyond the strictly academic. It provides an opportunity for parents, who were unable to attend their child's school during the day, to still participate in celebrating the event with their children and the community at large.
